Downs Link Southwater to Bramber castle, park at Southwater Country park
and join the Down Link, an easy ride along the old railway down to
near Bramber then a short ride along farm tracks and roads to the castle.

Seven Sisters Country park & Friston forest. An easy ride to the coast
at Cuckmere and lost of trails, some challenging in the forest.
My Modified bike
Due to my limited hip movement I almost gave up finding a way of being
able to ride a bike, my left foot cannot rise up any higher than about
2cm below the bottom bracket. 
However
after talking to several bike shops, I came across Future
Cycles in Forest Row, who in turn put me in touch with Unicam Mobility
a small firm in Somerset. The proprietor Paul Butterworth (01460 67926)
has developed a number of adaptations for cranks, in order to cater for
different disabilities. In my case a hinged crank was the answer. I have
amazed both myself and my friends by my new found competence!
